Fail but never lose. Work in silence.

I think life is always dangerous. Some people get afraid of it. Some people don’t go forward. But some people, if they want to achieve their goal, they have to go. They have to move… We have seen the barbaric situation of the 21st century in Swat. So why should I be afraid now?” said an 18-year-old girl from Pakistan, Malala Yousafzai.

Today anybody in this world can access all your information or at least, get to know about you within a series of clicks.

With the widespread access to social networks, the youth and school going students are losing their control. Excessive information is being shared with complete strangers. It has become a stage for criticism, crimes and all sorts of nonsense. What does this get to do with the title of this post?? “Work in silence?”

It has become a stage for criticism, crimes and all sorts of nonsense. What does this get to do with the title of this post?? “Work in silence?” Also ready my previous post related to this topic here.

Let me put it this way. You are an engineering or a medical student. You are totally not interested in the course but you’ve joined it for some reason. Now this is the start of your journey. If you want to succeed big time, stop publishing about yourself “always”. Do you have an idea? Do you wish to pursue your dreams apart from the failures you face? Rule number 1: never advertise yourself (there are added exceptions) unless you achieve big.

Whenever you fail at something, you’re seen as a worthless person by the society. Your parents get super scared about your future. Your teachers (very few) hurt you with their words. You  may start missing the smile in your face. You will see your friends merrily walking with job offers. You’ll be that lonely person sitting in the corner of the classroom which is filled with joy. You won’t get sleep. You won’t have regular meals. Few sensitive people may cry regularly but everything stays unknown to the outside world. Your old cotton pillow know you much better than the others. You’ll still be thinking of things you dreamt of doing with your life. It’s not the end. You are not a worthless loser if you fail in your exams. At the end of the day, grades are not going to speak for you. You are going to speak for yourself. It all depends on what you want to be, who you want to be.

During these tough times, you may be subjected to a lot of stress and depression. It’s your time to stay SILENT. Start planning on what you wanted to become irrespective of your academics. Nothing is impossible in this world. Plan your life from that moment. Let those hurting words burn in you forever. When you are verbally hurt by a person, do not ever forget what they said… Work harder & harder to achieve your own goals and I’m sure that your day will come. When that day arrives, don’t hesitate to flash your middle finger to all those who said you are a loser. Yes… live like a boss once in a while. Until you reach your first step of success, be in silence… Stones may be thrown at you, tear bombs may hit you. Stay calm and silent. Silence….. Silence is a powerful weapon when handled at the right point of time.

Plan and take each step. Inform very few people about what you are up to. There are people who trust you and believe in you, no matter what happens. Never hide anything from them. They maybe a person or a group of people etc. Don’t get over excited in this journey of pursuing your dreams. You friend may become your foe… or your foe may become your friend. All crappy things happen. You’ll get used to disappointments. It all depends on how fast you judge a person. Life is a circle – never ending.

Give me six hours to chop down a tree and I will spend the first four sharpening the axe.” said Abraham Lincoln.

For the society, you may look as a loser but your time has just begun. Plan ahead for the next 6-10 months. Work on all possibilities. It’s not a crime to fail again and again. Fail and learn, it makes you stronger. Be ready with two solutions. Positive and a negative. What if this succeeds? you have plan A. What if it fails? Then you have plan B. Climb up mountains, have pitfalls and finally on a lovely day, you’ll make the world turn towards you. You may want to be an entrepreneur, an actor, a singer, a journalist, a mechanic, a baker, a chef, a designer, it goes on… It all lies in how you turn every situation favourable to your growth. When you are on your own legs, there are numerous habits which you need to develop. Let me highlight on few of them.

Being alert – Update yourself on whatever that’s happening around you. Learn to observe your surroundings closely.

Interpersonal skills – Interact with as many people as you can. They maybe your friends or staff or people who share the same interests. Never hesitate to interact.

Wear a smile – Always smile while having a conversation. It’ll surely spread a positive vibe.

Never show your weakness – You maybe feeling weak or not confident about few cases. Never show it so obviously in your face. Be brave.

Eye contact – Have a deep eye contact with whoever you talk to. I’m sure that not many of them would lie to you if you cultivate this habit. If they lie, you can easily sense 😉

Sacrifice your fun time, sleep when you complete you target for the day. Make sure that before you close your eyes for the day you’ve advanced at least by a percent towards achieving your goal. It’s easy to say than to put it in action 😉 I totally agree! But follow these and i’m sure that your life will change one day. The moment you come back with a bang, all those aliens become friends with you. Strangers talk about you. Never be over proud about yourself. Maintain your silence and calmness. Anger is not going to help you in any way 🙂 Maintain your silence. Ultimately WORK IN SILENCE. WORK HARD.

Losers are people who give up on their awesome dreams, whatever it may be. You may fail again and again in order to reach your goal, but when you give up, you lose, forever. A 10 grade pointer is not always brilliant nor a 5 grade pointer is a loser. It all depends on who you are, what you want to be. Thrash those barriers and achieve big 🙂

NEVER GIVE UP.

I’ve written all these from my personal experiences…

To whomever it may concern. I may be a failure, but I’m not a loser 🙂 This is the beginning.

Cheers.
