“The world as we have created it is a process of our thinking. It cannot be changed without changing our thinking.” said Albert Einstein.
We are living in a world where people worry about their “curves” and “appearance” rather than their regular food intake and body metabolism.
We are living in a world where owning costly gadgets makes us feel rich/proud/satisfied with life rather than saving up some money.
We are living in a world where kids pester their parents to buy them a computer and a mobile phone (along with a 4g sim card) at a very tender age.
We are living in a world where kids talk about relationships and heartbreaks with the start of their adolescence. Whereas, in that time all we thought was to escape from home works and assignments.
We are living in a world where burgers/pizzas/fries/etc… are loved by youths rather than home made food. We then hit the gym for obesity control.
We are living in a world where sons and daughters transact money to their parents and think that their part is over, not understanding that their parents are longing to spend some quality time.
We are living in a world where smoking, drinking, doing drugs is a fashion/trend.
We are living in a world where sex is misunderstood as “porn” by the teenagers(and some creepy adults).
We are living in a world where money is always considered the ultimate.
We are living in a world where a woman/girl is called a slut if her bra strap is visible or she wears short clothes.
We are living in a world where we can spend Dollars for a coffee but can’t help the poor with a Cent.
We are living in a world where finding personal time is so difficult that we finish our conversations and kisses through the mobile devices.
We are living in a world where we feel lonely even if we have a friend count of 1250.
We are living in a world where only our pillows know our true emotions.
We are living in a world where “F**K” is a casual word.
We are living in a world where social media lights up a small speck of dust into an incessant fire.
We are living in a world where we get into a relationship with the internet without our knowledge and we go nuts if we get a “404:error.”
We are living in a world where VR and AR are diminishing the nature around us.
We live in a depressing world and indeed, this is a ย depressing truth…
We lived in the past.
We are living the present.
We will live the future.
A time will come to leave this world. But still…
Will anything change???
