Baby Girl’s Day – A poem

Sun is shining,
Father is snoring,
She giggles and  says “ga ga gaaah.”

Coffee is brewing,
Steak is stewing,
She giggles and says “ga ga gaaah.”

Birds are chittering,
Ears are listening,
She giggles and says “ga ga gaaah.”

Sun is setting,
Mother is knitting,
She giggles and  says “ga ga gaaah.”

Moon is shimmering,
Hands are fluttering,
She giggles and says “ga ga gaaah”

Dinner is cooking,
Nightingales are singing,
She giggles and says “ga ga gaaah.”

Eyes are sleepy,
Nappies are pee-pee,
She giggles and says “ga ga gaaah.”

Night-clothed, Eyes closed,
Embraced and loved,
She dreams and giggles, “ga ga ga.”
